IBOS UPDATE:Jhoom Barabar Jhoom dives after bumper week

After an opening week which saw Jhoom Barabar Jhoom collect 4 crores nett from 75 cinemas of Mumbai/Thane, nearly 3 crores from Delhi-Ghaziabad, a net of 1+ crore from Calcutta’s 30 prints, and a bumper 33 lakhs from Kanpur’s 5 theaters, the film as reported has been on a steep fall through its 2nd weekend barring some smaller centers. It won’t be a stretch to see week 2 collections drop by 70-80%. The principals of the film believe the film will stabalize but that typically doesn’t happen when the drop levels are this high.
Chain Kulli Ki Main has registered a tepid opening in the multiplexes.
